Dr. Meris Williams, Registered Psychologist

Dr Meris Williams, Registered PsychologistI have a PhD in Counselling Psychology (University of British Columbia), and I am a Registered Psychologist (#2188) in BC. I have 15 years of experience as a counsellor, and have worked with many different clients and issues within various contexts including community, university, and mental health counselling centres; and residential treatment and hospital settings. I aspire to the highest level of ethical practice, having taught inter-professional ethics at UBC for 5 years.

A particular specialty I have is helping people with disordered eating and eating disorders. I obtained supervised training in eating disorders treatment at BC Children’s Hospital Eating Disorders Program, and I’ve worked in both residential (Looking Glass Residence) and outpatient (Fraser South Eating Disorders Program) eating disorders treatment.
